Nao Japanese Ramen was busy during lunch. They are famous for their house-made noodles. I had the chashu pork don and takoyaki—they tasted authentic despite the limited availability of ingredients. From the host to the waitress and the head chef, everyone was very active. I especially loved watching the head chef prepare the meals.

Been coming to this place for lunch regularly since 2023 and it’s never let me down, on the four meals I have ordered this is my review for each. Shoyu ramen: beautiful and salty. Broth is always very light which I like as I dislike thick broth. noodles and pork are amazing too 6/10 Miso ramen: absolutely delicious I don’t know how to explain the flavour but it’s just great. Noodles and pork taste amazing in the broth. Again, not a super rich broth which I prefer 8/10 Chicken Katsu don: probably some of the most tender and juicy katsu chicken I’ve ever had paired with a beautiful sauce and added wasabi on the side, rice is very good too 10/10 Chicken Katsu curry: again, the divine chicken with a traditional Japanese curry and rice. Very basic meal but the taste does not disappoint 9/10

One of the most delicious ramen spots in Perth is located in the CBD and gets quite busy during lunchtime. What attracted me the most was their house-made noodles. The service and atmosphere were exceptionally polite, clean, well-organized, and welcoming! The food was served quickly and tasted great. I ordered the spicy ramen noodles, which came with two thin slices of pork. I wish there could have been either more slices or thicker slices of pork.

Tasty. And as twelve hits, busy. I think we got in just before the rush at ten minutes to lunch time

I’m so glad I found this ramen spot in Perth during my short visit! As a huge ramen fan, I can say this place is the real deal—legit and delicious. The noodles(house made noodle), broth, and toppings were all perfectly balanced, and the service was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic ramen. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
